My name is Shenelle. I am 21 years old, and I am from the Philippines. I have hands-on childcare experience both in the Philippines and in Finland. In the Philippines, I took care of my cousins and nephew, helping them play, learn, and stay engaged. Here in Finland, I spend time with my nieces, hanging out with them and taking care of them at the same time by organizing fun activities and creating positive experiences. I also have work experience in a päiväkoti during my OJT, where I helped children aged 0–7 years old with eating, playing, learning how to read, changing diapers, and other important daily activities. I enjoy caring for children, supporting their development, and making everyday time with them engaging and enjoyable. I am confident in my skills, love spending time with kids and teenagers, and I also know how to cook and clean. I speak English fluently, and I also speak Finnish at a basic level and am continuously learning and improving my language skills.
